Bethel Cemetery to Host Christmas Tour of Homes
A trio of Memphis homes will be the center of attention on Sunday, December 2nd as the Bethel Cemetery will host a Christmas Tour of Homes.
Participants will gather at the basement of the United Methodist Church in Memphis beginning at 1:00 p.m. Once at the church, tour guests will receive an informational brochure including the tour homes, with photos and descriptions of each destination. The cost of the tour is $5 with the proceeds going to the Bethel Cemetery.
“The houses will be festively decorated for Christmas both inside and out to put you in the holiday spirit,” said organizer Elaine Smith.
Homes on the tour include the residences at 707 Browning Street and 715 North Main Street.
Each participant will register for a special drawing to be held at 5:00 p.m. with one lucky tourist taking home a solid walnut salad bowl set. The prize currently is on display in the window at Farmer’s Mutual Insurance on the south side of the square.
