JAMES R. STICKLER

James R. Stickler, 61, of Blue Springs, MO, passed away January 11, 2007.

James was born October 27, 1945, to John and Ruthie Stickler in Quincy, IL.

He worked for Allied Trucking Systems and was a Teamster and member of Local #41.

He married Bonnie J. Kiekel on July 30, 1971. She survives.

James was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ruth Stickler and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Cecil and Dorothy Kiekel.

He is survived by children, Brian Robert Stickler and Mark James and Rachelle Stickler, he was looking forward to being a grandfather in May of 2007; brothers, John Jay Stickler and Richard and Evelyn Stickler; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Alan and Barbara Swearingen and Ronald and Sandy Kiekel; uncle, Barney Stickler; aunt, Winona Ostermueller; nieces and nephews, Shawn, Travis and Shiloh, Brittney, Jay, Stacy, Tammy, and Linda; 11 great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held January 15, 2007 in the Webb-Freer Funeral Home, Blue Springs, MO. Inurnment to follow at Blue Springs Cemetery. Arrangements were by Webb-Freer Funeral Home, 205 S.W. 17th Street, Blue Springs, MO 64015.
