Barbara was a member of the Bear Creek Baptist Church, and moved to the Wyaconda Baptist Church in 1957. She played the piano there for many years.

“Everyone knows the life I lived. There is no more to be said,” Barbara said. “I loved my Lord and my family very much.”

She was preceded in death by her parents, and adoptive parents; her husbands; a baby sister; a daughter-in-law, Doris, and a step-grandchild, Grant.

She is survived by her children, Fay and husband Dick Pruett of Wyaconda, Ronald and wife Shirley Waterman of Kahoka, and Richard James and wife Dorothy Waterman of Luray; 10 grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; and many great- and great-great-grandchildren and step-grandchildren.
