Sandra “Sandy” Lee Stivers, 46, of Carthage, IL, passed away at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois on March 24, 2007.

Sandy was born August 10, 1960, in Canton, Illinois the daughter of Clair and Janet (Melton) Stivers. Sandy was a member of the Calvary Assembly of God Church in Carthage. She had lived at the Carthage Terrace for the last 18 years and was an active worker in the Hancock County Mental Health Workshop.

Sandy is survived by her mother, Janet Druck and her husband, William, of Wyaconda, Missouri; her father, Clair Stivers, and his wife, Flo, of Macomb, IL; one brother, Donald Stivers, of Macomb; three sisters, Dianna Finn, and her husband, Ray, of Macomb, and Debra Bridges and Lori Jones of Canton, Illinois; 7 step-brothers, William Druck, Jr. of Ocala, FL, Daniel Druck, and his wife, Rhonda, of Huntley, IL, Collin Druck of Sycamore, IL, Donald Carey, Dale Carey and his wife, Sandy, and David Carey and his wife, Ginger, all of Macomb and Daniel Carey of Victoria, TX; her maternal grandmother, Helen Melton of Macomb, and several cousins, nieces, nephews, and aunts and uncles.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 31, 2007 at Printy Funeral Home in Carthage with Pastor Chris Hale officiating. Memorials may be made to the Carthage Terrace.

Printy Funeral Home in Carthage is in charge of arrangements.
