HELEN L. TAYLOR
(7/28/1914 – 3/25/2007)



Helen LeNelle Taylor, age 92 of Underwood, IA, died March 25, 2007 at Northcrest Care and Rehabilitation Center in Council Bluffs, IA, after a long illness.

Helen was born July 28, 1914 in Greencastle, Missouri to the late Dillard Vernon and Gladys (Crawford) Mardis.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Rev. K. Vernon Taylor in 2004. He served as a minister in the Memphis area for some time. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, one sister, grandson, Robert D. Taylor, and son-in-law, Alan Scott.

Survivors include a son, David Taylor and wife Marilyn of Neola, IA, a daughter, Nancy Guhl and husband Bob of Grandbury, TX, five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, two sisters, two brothers, nieces and nephews.

Graveside service and burial was March 28th at the Greeencastle, Missouri Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Odyssey Hospice or your favorite charity. Arrange-ments were under the direction of Cutler-O’Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home of Council Bluffs, IA.
