Clarence Eugene Magorian, 94, formerly of Milton, IA, died April 16, 2007, at Bloomfield Care Center, Bloomfield, IA.

He was born May 3, 1912 at Cantril, IA.

He married Willa Cantril, IA, March 18, 1936, in Memphis, MO. She preceded him in death March 30, 2002.

He lived most of his life in the Milton-Cantril, IA area. He worked at Barker Wire Products Co., Keosauqua, IA, and as a building custodian at Iowa State University, Ames, IA.

Surviving are a son, Louis Magorian and wife, Nancy of Worcester, MA; a son-in-law, James Bell of Mt. Sterling, IA; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild; brother-in-law, Leland and Ruth Cantril of Memphis, MO.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; two daughters, Ruth Bell and Carolyn Brotherton; a brother, Neil Magorian; and a sister, Rena Kimmel.

Funeral services were held April 19, 2007, in the Milton Christian Church, Milton, IA, with Pastor Justin DeVries officiating. Burial was in Sunnyside Cemetery, Milton, IA. Memorials to the family may be left at the Pedrick Funeral Home or mailed to the family at 27183 Lark Ave., Mt. Sterling, IA 52537.
