FORREST JUNIOR BEELER
(8/22/1926 – 6/16/2007)



Forrest Junior Beeler, 80, of Memphis, MO, passed away at the Scotland County Memorial Hospital in Memphis, MO, on June 16. 2007.

The son of Herbert Orville and Mary Pearl (Elschlager) Beeler, he was born on August 22, 1926, in rural Schuyler County, MO.

“Junior” was married to Marjorie Gossman and to this union two sons were born, James and David Beeler. “Junior” was united in marriage to Carmen Ayer and to this union one daughter was born, Trina Beeler and on May 7, 1985, he was united in marriage to Jerrylee Lambert.

Survivors include his wife, Jerrylee Beeler of Memphis, MO; his children, James Beeler and wife, Mary of Lancaster, MO and Trina Feuerborn of Blue Springs, MO; one step-daughter, Dena Buckallew and husband, Gary of Macon, MO; eight grandchildren, Darrick Beeler, Shelby Cassiday, Chris Cassiday, Kaden James, Sarah Rader, Angela Kay Stowell, Emily Buckallew and Abby Feuerborn; two great-grandchildren, Keeton Buckallew and Erin Myers; one brother, Kenneth Beeler and wife, Lucy of Lancaster, MO; other family members and a host of friends.

“Junior” is preceded in death by his parents, one son, David Beeler in June 1990 and one son-in-law, Stephen Paul Feuerborn.

“Junior” was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans since 1984 and was also a member of the Scotland County VFW Post #4958.

Memorial services were held June 19, 2007 at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, MO, with Larry Smith, pastor of the Downing Christian Church in Downing, MO, officiating. Memorials have been established for the Scotland County Nutrition Site in Memphis, MO. Burial will be at a later date as the body has been cremated. Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster.
