Olive VanGorkom Geeron, 79, of Sioux City, IA passed away in her home on November 13, 2007.

She was born August 20 1928 in Belfast, Ireland to George and Annie Bodell Todd.

She is survived by a son Alan (Linda Corman) VanGorkom of Mt. Sterling, IA; two daughters, Linda VanGorkom (Mark) Stevens of Tucson, AZ and Kathy (Jeff) Geeron Eitzmann of Lincoln, NE; 10 grandchildren, Eddie, Dale and Jessie Wait, Sally May, Phoebe Douglas, Clint VanGorkom, Casey and Nicholas Stevens, Derek and Conner Eitzmann and one great-grandchild, Gwen May.

She was preceded in death by her parents; nine brothers and sisters; a daughter, Patty VanGorkom Wait, and a son, David VanGorkom.

She was proud of her family, her Irish heritage and American citizenship.

Memorials have been suggested to the American Heart Associations and may be left at or mailed to the Payne Funeral Chapel, 202 E. Madison, Memphis, MO 63555.

Graveside services will be Saturday, December 8, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at the Memphis Cemetery, Memphis, MO, with Bro. Jim Campbell officiating. Arrangements are being handled by the Payne Funeral Chapel, Memphis, MO.
