Bairís 20 Points Lead Lady Tigers To Victory

A long bus ride can sometimes do a number on a basketball team. On February 4th, the travel to Milan took its toll on the Scotland County girls early on as the Lady Tigers managed just five first period points to fall behind the Wildcats.

Jessica Bair got her team going in the second period. The junior forward nailed a three pointer and had eight points in the period to help Scotland County tie the game at 17-17 at the break.

Bair continued to pour in the points in period three. She netted seven more points as Scotland County pulled ahead 35-29.

Trisha Harvey and Kaela Cook had key buckets down the stretch as the Lady Tigers held on for the 47-43 win.

Bair finished with 20 points and nine rebounds to lead SCR-I to the win. Valerie Oldham had six points and grabbed a team-high 10 boards.
