Siblings Shine at Show Me Speedway June 9th Races

Three different sets of relatives made it to victory lane at the June 9th races at Show-Me Speedway in Downing, making it an unofficial “family night” at the go kart track.

Devin Logerman started it off with his victory in the Rookie race. He held off #90 Joshua Adams and #12 Gage Dodge for the win.

Austin Logerman piloted the #8A kart to first place in the Junior I Heavy division finale. He bested #4 and Jacob Mulvaney and #31B Brady Bowling.

The Hagars took over from there.

Teresa Hagar won the Stock Lite feature ahead of the #32 of Tyler Hagar.

Joey Hagar was next in victory lane as he crossed the finish line in the Junior I Lite feature ahead of #18 D Dalton Logerman and the #12D of Deven Beeler.

The Fischer family took home three trophies Saturday night.

Lucas Fischer was the winner in the Junior II Heavy feature. Tyler Griesbaum was second followed by Andy Garrett.

Daniel Fischer took the trophy in the Junior II Lite race finishing ahead of Garrett and the #8D of Daniel Beeler.

Lloyd Fischer and #5F kart completed the big night for the family as they took the Master class race ahead of #3F Loren Fischer and #4 Mike Thelen.

The Stock Medium feature was won by #02 Ashley Hutchinson. She held off #12 Jeannie Hutchinson and #34 Greg Tuggle.

The next scheduled race at Downing is set for June 30th. The association will also be in action at the Pepsi Scotland County Speedway for a special show Friday, June 22nd during the Scotland County Fair.

Track director Ron Gardner praised the work of the volunteers at the facility and also applauded the parents of the participants for making it all happen at the speedway.
