Show-Me Speedway Racers Shine For Television Cameras

KTVO was among the spectators Saturday night at Show-Me Speedway in Downing, interviewing drivers and taking footage of the racers that will air on the sports section of the news July 29th at 10:00 p.m.

The cameras caught Dawson Beeler taking the checkered flag in the Rookie feature race. He held off #90 Joshua Adams and #20D Devin Logerman for the win. The rest of the field included #11 Chester Robinson, #99 Adriane Cole, and #01 Katlynn Leer.

The Stock Lite victory went to #76 Cody Dunn. He raced to the win followed by #26 Justin Vancil, #29 Jake Lowery, #0 Cory Graham, and #2 Richard Tournear rounding out the top five. Also racing were #20X Jonathan Coleman, #20 Marshall Coleman, #32 Tyler Hagar, #36X Ryan Miller, #36 Teresa Hagar, and #07 Ashley Hudson.

Jeremy Marshall made it to victory lane in the Junior I main event. The #27 of Austin Versteegh was second followed by #18D Dalton Logerman, #39 Joey Hagar, #3 Tanner Klingele, #12D Devin Beeler and #44 Dave Hudson.

The Junior II race was won by #81 Justice Schlicher, who edged out #8D Daniel Beeler, #481 Andrew Murray, #9 Tyler Granneman, and #8 Sam McClure. The rest of the field included #7 Myles McClure, #3 Tyler Griesbaum, #11 Jashua Robinson, #03 Riley Newton, #48 Brittany Thelen, #51 Megan Farley, #2 Logan Farley, #14 Autumn Elliott, #75M Tyler Matthes, #7C Cole Elsea, #28 Samara Brush, and #43 Mike Hudson.

Chase Wanner held off Christian Bowman to take top honors in the Champions race.

The Stock Medium feature victory went to #29 Jake Lowery. He beat #20X Jonathan Coleman to the finish line. Third place went to #2 Richard Tournear followed by #34 Greg Tuggle and #32 Tyler Hagar.

Austin Logerman claimed top honors in the Junior I Heavy feature race. He held off #31B Brady Bowling, #4 Jacob Mulvaney, and #9 Dakota Elliott.

The Junior II Heavy race was won by #8 Sam McClure Second place went to #9 Tyler Granneman followed by #77 Andy Garrett, #7 Myles McClure and #03 Riley Newton rounding out the top five. The rest of the field included #27S Andy Sundblad, #55 Andrew Matthes, #56 Joey Martins, and #3 Tyler Griesbaum.

Heath Williams took the checkered flag in the Masters race. He bested #4 Mike Thelen, #79 Dennis Thelen, #8 Tom Thelen, #2 Jay Brush, and #34H Chris Hudson.

The next race will be August 11th, with hot laps at 6:00 p.m., races at 7:00 p.m.
