Martinís Auto Service Moves Into New Facility

While it covered little distance, going from one side of Highway 136 to the other, it was still a giant move for Martinís Auto Service.

The company opened the doors on its new expanded service center last week. The father and son mechanic shop had been located in the former Rickís Service Station building on the north side of Highway 136 just west of the Highway 15 junction in Memphis.

Construction was completed this spring on the companyís new facility, located just east of MFA Oil on the south side of the highway. The move to the new site was completed March 22nd.

The new site more than doubled in size, expanding the total space to approximately 8,400 square feet. The crew went from two lifts to a total of five now. Combined with the added work area, the new equipment is expected to allow the mechanics to be more efficient.

Currently Martinís Auto Service employs four full-time mechanics. With room for eight vehicles in the shop at one time, ownership hopes to be able to offer same day service on many jobs.
