Library to Host Summer Reading Program

“Catching the Reading Bug” is the theme of our summer reading program at the Scotland County Memorial Library. The program starts June 2nd and ends July 11th. All children ages three years through the sixth grade are encouraged to sign-up during those dates.

Every Wednesday they will have story times at 10:30 a.m. and these are open to everyone.

The library’s opening program will be June 4th with Karen Armstrong from Missouri Conservation with a program about bugs.

For information please call 465-7042. Library hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
