Memphis Man Hurt in Crash in Wyaconda

A Memphis man escaped serious injury in a motorcycle accident that occurred at 7:20 p.m. on July 18th in Clark County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Billy J. Bergheger, 18 was eastbound on Route E in Wyaconda on a 1985 Honda motorcycle. He was attempting to make a lefthand turn when he apparently lost control of the vehicle and slid onto the roadway.

Bergheger was transported by private vehicle to Scotland County Memorial Hospital where he was treated for minor injuries.

He was ticketed for not wearing a helmet.
