Car Strikes Home on Lindell Boulevard

A one-car accident Tuesday morning left a Memphis residence with moderate damage. The incident occurred at approximately 7:30 a.m. on Lindell Blvd near the Scotland County R-I High School.

According to the Memphis Police Department, Megan Hatfield, 16, of Arbela was northbound on Lindell Blvd. in a 2001 Oldsmobile. The car went off the right side of the road way where it traveled for approximately 200 feet before the vehicle returned to the road and then exited the left side of the street where it impacted the residence at 905 Lindell Blvd.

The Rich Radar residence was struck by the car and sustained moderate damage to the northeast side of the front of the home. One resident was inside the home at the time of the accident, and was actually located in the room that the car impacted.

The resident suffered minor injuries and was to seek treatment. Hatfield was not injured in the crash.
