4-H Club to Host Public Forum on Sales Tax Issue

The Missouri Mischief’s 4-H club will host a public forum on October 23rd at 6:00 p.m. in the Rotary Building on the east side of the Memphis square to discuss the law enforcement tax issue on the November ballot.

Chili, dessert and drinks will be served for a free will donation.

“This will be an informative meeting for all who are interested in talking to the county commissioners about the law enforcement tax that is on the November ballot,” said 4-H club member Logan Payne.

In addition to the sales tax information, representatives from the Missouri Department of Transportation will be present at the meeting to discuss upcoming bridge work being done in Scotland County.

“Please come with any questions or concerns for the commissioners,” said Payne. “Help us keep our 4-H and Extension in Scotland County.”
