DEBRA LYNN FORSYTHE

Debra Lynn Forsythe, 53, of Downing, MO, passed away at her home in Downing, MO on February 9, 2008.

The daughter of Delvin Burr and Eva Leotta (Harder) Howard, she was born on October 22, 1954 in Davenport, IA.

She was united in marriage to Robert Eugene Forsythe on January 9, 1976, in Davenport, IA, and to this union one son was born, Richard Del Forsythe.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Eugene Forsythe of Downing, MO; one son, Richard Del Forsythe of Downing, MO; brothers, Laverne Dittberner of Minneapolis, MN, Leland Dittberner of Mason City, IA, and Leroy Wisebaker of Dayton, OH; one sister, Lois Gorrell of Morton, IL; her father-in-law, Gene Forsythe of Lancaster, MO; and other family members.

Debra Lynn Forsythe was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Leonard Willer of Wilmar, MN.

Debra had a love for horses, sewing, computers, southwestern clothing and jewelry. She was a Christian and a devoted wife and mother who loved to do crafts with her son.

In recent years, she courageously fought through several medical set backs with the support of her husband.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. at the Jimtown Cemetery with Larry Smith, pastor of the Downing Christian Church of Downing, MO officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the graveside services at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, MO. Memorials have been established for the families expenses. Burial will be in the Jimtown Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman Funeral Home of Lancaster, MO.
