HAROLD MILLER
(11/16/1934 - 2/27/2008)



Harold “Leroy” Miller, 73, of Gorin, MO, passed away February 27, 2008 at the Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL. He was born on November 16, 1934 in Bushnell, IL, the son of Harold Gale and Ada Frances Hammond Miller.

On February 16, 1974 in Memphis, MO Leroy married Cindy Coop.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandkids.

He is survived by his wife Cindy of Gorin, MO, one son Harold Miller and wife Jessica, one daughter Kim Smith and husband Mike all of Memphis, MO. Four grandchildren, Kaylee and Geoffry Miller and Brooke and Marcus Smith all of Memphis, MO. One brother Clifford Miller and wife Teresa of Wyaconda, MO; three sisters Margaret Lusby of Emporia, KS, Diana March and husband Jack of Luray, MO, Peggy Davis and husband Raymond of Moberly, MO; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Leroy was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, and one brother.

The family has suggested memorials to the family and may be left at or mailed to the Payne Funeral Chapel, 202 E. Madison, Memphis, MO 63555.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 1, 2008, at the Payne Funeral Chapel, Memphis, with Rev. Ernest Deatrick officiating. Pallbearers were Harold Miller, Mike Smith, Scott Adams, Danny Miller, Kevin Fountain, and Richard Coop. Honorary pallbearers were Donnie Golbricht, Bob Waugh, and Clifford Miller. Interment was in the Gorin Cemetery, Gorin, MO.

Arrangements were handled by the Payne Funeral Chapel, Memphis, MO.
