Winona “Winnie” Parrish, 86, of Boonville, MO died July 19, 2008, at Ashley Manor Care Center in Boonville, MO.

Memorial services for “Winnie” will be held at a later date in Rutledge, MO.

In Knox County, MO, near Rutledge, MO on July 6, 1922, Winona was born the daughter of John and Ula Arehart Kassahn, both of whom preceded her in death.

In 1942, she was married to Forrest Parrish, who preceded her in death in 1971.

She was of the Christian faith, a housewife and mother. She enjoyed watching horse racing and traveling.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Jerry Parrish.

Survivors include two daughters, Janice Kay Sexton of Preston, CT and Jan Lisa Parrish with husband, John Wilson, both of Boonville, MO; one sister, Eilene McCabe of Rutledge, MO; four grandchildren, Nicholas Custom, Todd and Scott Parrish and James Sexton; four great-grandchildren, Matthew and Crissy Sexton of Preston, CT and Hunter and Logan Parrish of the state of Washington.
