SINA MARIE KELSO

Sina Marie Kelso, 56, formerly of Lancaster, MO, passed away at the Scotland County Care Center, Memphis, MO on Monday, October 27, 2008. She had been a resident with the Care Center since May 1992.

The daughter of Kenneth Burton and Mary Marie (Partin) Kelso, Sina was born August 9, 1952 in Kirksville, MO.

Sina attended Brush Creek School as long as her health permitted.

Survivors include her sister, Sheila Martin and husband, Fred of Lancaster, MO; brothers, John Kelso and wife, Cindy of Lancaster, MO, Terry Kelso and wife, Marlena of Downing, MO, Rick Kelso and wife, Debbie of Downing, MO, Randy Kelso of Lancaster, MO and Kevin Kelso of Greentop, MO; several nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and nephews; aunts; uncles; cousins and other family members.

Sina is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

Sina lived her entire life in the Lancaster and Downing, MO area until the time she became a resident with the Care Center. She cherished the time she was able to spend with her family and especially enjoyed listening to her music.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Norman Funeral Home in Downing, MO with Sonny Smyser, pastor of the Schuyler County Church of Faith officiating. Music will be taped selections of “In The Garden” and “How Great Thou Art”. Pallbearers will be Sarah Picolet, Gail Farley, Tim Farley, Larry Aeschliman, Steve Swindler, and Vaughn Ayer. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Farley and Mike Jackson.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral services at the Norman Funeral Home in Downing, MO.

Memorials have been established for the Downing City Cemetery in Downing, MO. Burial will be in the Downing City Cemetery in Downing, MO. Arrangement are under the direction of the Norman Funeral Home of Lancaster and Downing.
