WANDA SHELLEY
(9/17/1930-11/10/2008)



Wanda Shelley was born at Bible Grove, MO, on September 17, 1930, the daughter of Dewey and Chleo Humphrey.

Wanda departed this life when she lost her battle with cancer on November 10, 2008 at her home in Pocatello, ID.

Wanda married Elton C. Shelley, May 23, 1948, in Milton, IA in the Methodist Church. To this union a son was born, Daryl D. Shelley, April 12, 1951.

Wanda and Elton had a dairy herd and farmed in Missouri. They sold everything and left Missouri in 1957 and moved to Pocatello, ID.

Wanda’s parents preceded her in death.

She leaves her family, husband, Elton Shelley; son, Daryl Shelley and wife, Carol and grandson, Skyler Shelley; brother, Basil Humphrey and his two children, Stanley and family from Memphis, MO and Robin and husband and their two sons from Kansas City, MO.

Wanda had her own barber and beauty salon for 30 years.

She was a caring person and helped anyone she could help. She had many hobbies and friends. Her first love was horses and she understood them. She loved working and do everything with them. She loved all animals and everything outdoors, also dogs and cats. She loved her home and knitting, crocheting, carpentry, and sewing.

She and Elton rode a Honda Goldwing Aspencade over 13 years touring and seeing much of the United States.

Wanda was a Christian and she is with the Lord in the Kingdom of Heaven. She will be greatly missed here on earth.
