Autopsy Reveals Fatal Shooting Was Self Inflicted
A well-being check performed by a landlord and a friend of the tenant found a horrific site at a residence in Memphis on February 2nd.
When the two men entered the home at 420 S. Knott Street, they discovered the resident suffering from a gunshot wound.
Jimmy Lee Haroldson, 46, was transported to Scotland County Memorial Hospital and then on to University of Missouri Medical Center in Columbia where he later passed away.
An autopsy was performed on February 3rd at the Boone County Medical Examinerís office in Columbia. The report indicated that Haroldson had suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The case was investigated by the Memphis Police Department and the Scotland County Coronerís Office.
