Chamber Announces Christmas Lighting Contest Winners

Christmas decorations are lighting up the community heading into the special holiday and the Memphis Chamber of Commerce once again awarded some of the best looking homes and businesses in the groupís annual lighting contest.

Entrants in the contest were judged on December 19th.

First prize in the residential category went to Daisy Murphy at 243 N. Maple Street. She earned $80 in Memphis Bucks to spend at any Chamber member business. Second prize of $60 in Memphis Bucks went to Jeremy and Kara Hamlin at 352 E. Jefferson. Third prize was awarded to Tammy and Allen Adams at 517 W. Missouri Ave.

Bragging rights and a fruit basket went along with the top prize in the commercial category won by Pepsi-Cola.

Prizes may be picked up at Primrose Realty.
