Kahoka Woman Hurt in Crash Near Memphis
A Kahoka woman suffered minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident in Scotland County on Wednesday, September 16th.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Janice R. Sturm, 49, was eastbound on Highway 136 in a 1998 Toyota truck when the vehicle drove onto the shoulder. The driver lost control and the truck traveled off the roadway where the front impacted the ditch.
The accident occurred at 11:54 a.m. approximately eight miles east of Memphis.
Sturm was transported by Scotland County Ambulance to Scotland County Memorial Hospital in Memphis for treatment of minor injuries.
The Patrol was assisted at the scene by the ambulance service and the Scotland County Sheriff’s Department.
