PAUL CLAYTON LUSCOMBE
(4/3/1923-4/23/2009)



Paul Clayton Luscombe, 86, formerly of Holton, KS, passed away April 23, 2009 at Horton Community Hospital, Horton, KS.

He was born April 3, 1923 in Circleville, KS, the son of John H. and May Rosa Hill Luscombe.

Paul graduated from Denison High School and later joined the United States Navy. He was lifetime member of the Holton VFW.

He married Geraldine Heiselman on October 30, 1943. They were later divorced.

Paul was a former resident of Memphis, MO.

Paul was preceded in death by a daughter, Maureen Luscombe; three sisters, Anna Marie Luscombe, Virginia Newman and Martha Salts; and one brother, Bill Luscombe.

Survivors include three daughters, Sharon Hennis of Holton, KS, Cheryl Hamlin of Circleville, KS, Lea Stewart of Topeka, KS; a dear friend, Virginia Radford of Horton, KS; two sisters, Betty Hardy of Castro Valley, CA, Dolly Cole of Topeka, KS; a brother, Maurice Luscombe of Topeka, KS; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services were Monday, April 27, 2009 at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton, KS. Inurnment was in the Circleville Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Jackson County Senior Citizens Center, c/o Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
