PHILLIP NEAL HYDE (6/23/1939-8/21/2009)
(4/10/1931 - 12/11/2001)



Phillip Neal Hyde, 70, died at his home near Conway, MO, on August 21, 2009.

He was born at Memphis, MO, on June 23, 1939, a son of Hollis and Nellie Smith Hyde.

Phillip was married to Kathy Duke on July 31, 1966.

He was a retired dairy farmer. He was of the Methodist faith.

Phillip is survived by his wife, Kathy of the home; two daughters, Becky Webster and her husband, Norman of Phillipsburg, MO and Leah Lee and her husband, Zeb of Lebanon, MO; two grandchildren, Jada and Jakeb Webster; two brothers, Delbert Hyde and wife, Margaret of Independence, MO, Leland Hyde and wife, Dolores of Memphis, MO; six sisters, Mary Drummond of Conway, MO, Ruth Moore and husband, Bob of Keokuk, IA, Carol Bundy and husband, Don of Blue Springs, MO, Nelda Boatman and husband, Asie of Wayland, MO, Virginia Bertram and husband, Fred of Gorin, MO, and Barbara Hughes and husband, Norman of Kirksville, MO; his mother-in-law, Nettie Duke of Memphis, MO; several nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Gennie Ridge and Evelyn Gatlin; and one brother, Charles Hyde.

Visitation was held Sunday, August 23, 2009 at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel in Lebanon, MO. Funeral services were held at Richland Baptist Church on Monday, August 24, 2009, at 1:00 p.m., Memphis, MO, with Brother Mike Wilson officiating. Burial was in the Brock Cemetery near Memphis, MO.

Services were under the direction Shadel’s Colonial Chapel, Lebanon, MO.
