TAMMIE KAY MALLETT
(5/5/1965 – 10/15/2009)



Tammie Kay Mallett, 44, of Memphis, MO, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2009, at her home in Memphis. Tammie was born on May 5, 1965 at Bloomfield, IA, the daughter of Henry (Bud) and Caroline Clatt Dennison. She attended grade school and graduated from Memphis High School in 1983.

Tammie married Brian Mallett on June 25, 1990 in Memphis, and to this union one son was born.

She had worked for Home Health, Places, Casey’s, Pizza Hut, Mom’s Place, and Cash Cleaners. Tammie was a NASCAR fan and didn’t miss many races at the Scotland County Speedway.

Tammie enjoyed spending time with her family and especially with her son, Aaron.

Tammie is survived by her son, Aaron Mallett; her parents, Bud and Caroline Dennison; one brother Donnie Dennison; grandmothers Ivy Dennison and Shirley Clatt, all of Memphis, MO; special aunt Pat Potter of Hamilton, IL, aunt Margaret Kaldenberg of Iowa Falls, IA; one uncle John Clatt of Ashley, NE; along with several cousins and friends including her best friend Brian Mallett of Memphis, MO.

She was preceded in death by her twin sister Donna, sister Linda Jo; grandpa Paul and grandma Ruth Clatt, and grandpa William Dennison.

Memorials are suggested to the family, and may be left at or mailed to the Payne Funeral Chapel, 202 E. Madison, Memphis, MO 63555.

Funeral Services were held Monday, October 19, 2009, at the Payne Funeral Chapel in Memphis with Rev. Charles Hammack officiating. Pallbearers were Roger Kaldenberg, Robert Arnold, Ray Ward, Billy Mallett, Rev. Robert Moseley, and Marvin Speckhart. Honorary Bearers were Connie Richtsmeir, Kelly Clatt, Anita Eggeston, John Jason Clatt, Jerry Kaldenberg, Terry Kaldenberg, Lannette Stacy, Paula Jean Rentzell, Jeffery Clatt and Kathy Tuttle. Interment followed at the Sands Cemetery, St. Francisville, MO.

Arrangements were under the direction of the Payne Funeral Chapel in Memphis.
