Lady Tigers Outlast North Shelby 38-30 for League Win

It took a 13-7 run in the fourth period, but Scotland County broke into the win column in Tri-Rivers Conference play with a 38-30 win at Shelbyville on January 27th.

After a heart-breaking loss at Edina to open league play, Scotland County righted the conference ship with the hard-fought victory over North Shelby.

Scotland County led just 25-23 after three periods of play before putting the game away over the final eight minutes.

Kaitlin Caldwell topped Scotland County (12-6, 1-1 TRC) with 10 points. Melissa Cotton and Deidra Dochterman both finished with seven points.

North Shelby (3-8, 0-3) was led by sophomore Jessica Linberger with 12 points.
