Fifty-plus Karters Converge on Show-Me Speedway for Saturday Night Racing Action

Saturday night racing action returned to Show-me Speedway in Downing as 53 go-karts took to the dirt oval to race for top honors on July 11th.

Nine entries competed in the Junior II division with #66 Daniel Fischer crossing the finish line in first. The #7C kart of Cole Elsea was second followed by #7 Tyler McGoldrick, -#12 Devon Beeler, #63 Jacob Dietrich, #14 Autumn Elliott, #9 Dakota Elliott and #25 Ben Graves. The kart of #38 Austin Logerman was not able to answer the call for the feature.

Dalton Logerman piloted the #18 kart to victory in the Junior I Heavy feature race. He bested #37 Joey Hagar, #34 Dave Hudson, #90 Joshua Adams and #88 Amber Harrison.

The Rookie Beginners class was a five-kart clash that saw #70 Casey Taylor take the checkered flag ahead of #101 Trey Brown, #77 Foster Janes, #10 Madisyn Rhoads and #4 Tyson Paris.

The Masters class is for veteran racers based on age, but it was a first-time driver Alan Adams that ended up in the winnerís circle. He held off Ron Taylor and Lloyd Fischer for his inaugural win.

The Stock Medium class was a four-kart battle with #71 Lucas Fischer edging out #22 Adam Baker at the finish line. Finishing third was #32 Tyler Hagar followed by #56 Joey Martens.

The Junior I feature win went to #29 Jace Gay. Rounding out the field were #2 Christina Ferguson, #10 Dawson Beeler, #11 Kyle Clark, #4 Cassandra Ferguson, #16 Karissa Adams and #8 Trevor Hettinger.

Andrew Murray drove to victory in the #48 kart to win the Stock Lite class feature. He held off #8 Daniel Beeler followed by #71 Lucas Fischer, #22 Adam Baker, #13 Damian Beeler and #38 Ronnie Taylor.

The Advanced Rookie division was a three-kart race with #20 Devin Logerman taking the checkered flag ahead of #7 Hayden Gordy and #68 Tanner Alexander.

The largest field of the night was the Blue Motors division. Jarret Lovelace and the #23 kart took top honors ahead of #138 Jared Fox and #33 Tyler Hagar. Rounding out the rest of the field were #17 Robert Seiger, #18 Clay Darr, #24 Scott Goff, #40 Victor Pippin, #36 Jim Hagar, #38 D.J. Fountain, #3 Brandon Darr and #10 Zach Rhoads.
