Lister, Creek Earn All-District Softball Honors

The six teams in the Missouri Class 2 District 12 honored the top softball players in the assoication with the recent naming of the All District team as selected by the coaches.

Two Scotland County players were honored on the all-star squad.

Kelly Lister earned all-district honors at catcher. Megan Creek was named to the team in a utility roll.

Highlandís Julie Schultz, a sophomore was named the districtís top hurler along with Kaitlin Stump, a senior from Schuyler County and Brittney Miller, a senior from Knox County.

The all-district infield consisted of Kourtney Nelson, a junior from Schuyler County, Sarah Riley, a senior from Putnam County, Amanda Hinkle, a senior from Highland and Hannah Dale, a junior from Knox County.

The all star outfielders named by the coaches were Brandy Shultz, a senior from Putnam County and Nicole Kraft a sophomore from Highland.

Lister and Hannah Trump, a freshman from Clark County were named all-district catchers.

Creek, Marissa Shuey, a freshman from Putnam County and Brooke Wheeler, a senior from Clark County were named to the all-star team in utility roles.
