Memphis to Host Town Hall Meeting on Healthcare

The Missouri Office of Primary Care and Rural Health, in partnership with the Missouri Foundation for Health and the Missouri Rural Health Association will host a Town Hall meeting on rural health issues in Memphis. The goal is to develop the Missouri Rural Health Plan and to inform program priorities for the Foundation for Health.

The meeting, hosted by Scotland County Hospital, will be held on Monday, May 24, 2010, beginning at 3:00 p.m. and is located in the Conference Room at the North Entrance. Refreshments will be provided by the Missouri Foundation for Health.

The program will include information about the purpose and objectives of the Office of Rural Health and the Missouri Foundation for Health, and will be structured to gather information on issues such as health care access, social services, education and the economy in rural Missouri.
