Tiger Greats to be in Memphis November 29th for MU Luncheon

A pair of former Missouri University athletes will be joining University of Missouri Athletic Director Mike Alden for the school's annual visit to Scotland County on November 29th.

For years Alden and fellow MU representatives have traveled to Memphis at least once a year to share a steak dinner with Tiger boosters at Keith's Cafe.

This year he will be joined by Brad Ekwerekwu and Lindsey Hunter and Josh Murray. Brad is a former MU football standout, playing wide receiver for the 2003-2006 teams. He currently works with the school's Tiger Scholarship Fund Office and Total Person Department. Lindsey is a former All-America volleyball player (2002-2005) and currently works with MU's Life Skills Program. Murray is an assistant director of media relations.

The event is scheduled for noon on Monday, November 29th. Ticket cost is $25. For more information contact organizer, Dr. Harlo Donelson at 465-7770.

Alumni, boosters and Tiger fans from across the area are invited to share lunch with the University of Missouri representatives. Following the meal, the MU crew will present information to the attendees and host a question and answer session.
