IVAN N. GOOD
(8/10/1931 - 1/8/2010)



Ivan N. Good, 78, of Knox City, Missouri, went to be with the Lord, on Friday, January 8, 2010 at his residence.

He was born on August 10, 1931, in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, the son of Edward S. and Frances N. Good.

Ivan was raised in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania and married Anna W. Martin on January 12, 1952. They moved to Knox County, Missouri in 1974 to make their new home and were members of the Millport Mennonite Church south of Rutledge, Missouri.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Good of the home north of Knox City, Missouri; four sons, Allen Good of the home, Marcus and Regina Good of Edina, Missouri, Ivan Jr. and Anna Mae Good of Rutledge, Missouri, John and Joyce Good of Knox City, Missouri; six daughters, Verna and John Zeiset of Knox City, Missouri, Grace and Clarence Martin of Snover, Michigan, Esther Good of the home, Susan and Leon Zimmerman of Ephrata, Pennsylvania, Corinne and Marlin Zeiset of Decker, Michigan, and Rosanna and David Zeiset of Memphis, Missouri; six brothers, Luke and Martha Good, Willis and Esther Good, Mark and Louella Good, Jacob and Arlene Good, Moses and Elizabeth Good, and Jonas and Grace Good all of Pennsylvania; a sister, Katie and Henry Garman of Pennsylvania; 69 grandchildren; 82 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Ivan was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Lloyd Good, Allen Good in infancy and Edward Good; and a sister Anna Martin.

Funeral Services were held Tuesday, January 12, 2010, at the Millport Mennonite Church south of Rutledge, Missouri. Wesley Martin, Abner Oberholtzer, Carl Hoover and Earl Oberholtzer officiated the services. Casket Bearers were Glen Ivan Zeiset, Uron Zimmerman, Nolan Good, Kevin Good, Carl Good, and Mervin Zeiset.

Doss Funeral Home in Edina, Missouri is assisting with arrangements.
