Timber Ridge Hosts Ladiesí Day Tournament

Saturday was Ladiesí day at Timber Ridge Golf Course as the Memphis Country Club hosted its annual ladies four-person golf scramble with a large field of teams taking part in the contest.

The team of Hopkins, Ewing, Ewing and Anderson took home top honors shooting a 61. Second place in the championship flight went to the team of Taylor, Bish, Utt and Grant with a 63.

First prize in the A flight was won by the team of Porter, Sieren, Erhart and Hall with a round of 70. The team of Drummond, Drummond, Miller and Weber finished second with a 71.

The tournament was sponsored by J & J Ag, Veeolia Environmental Services, Gas & More, Team Hamlin Builders, Crystalís Country Style, Keithís Cafť, Hair Co., Community Bank of Memphis, The Daisy Patch, Bank of Memphis, Kountry Konnection, Arlys Grant, Leslie Clark, US Bank, Memphis Lumber, Pepsi Cola, Jís Foods Inc., The Catfish Place, Cookís Mens Store, Don F. Harrison Insurance, Shelly Bís, Memphis Democrat, Scotland County Lanes, Exchange Bank of Northeast Missouri, The Party Shack, Country Clips, Pizza Hut and Hinds Realty.

Sandy Hainline made the longest putt on #1 while Jessica Ewing had the longest drive in the fairway on #2. The closest to the pin prize on hole #3 went to Tammy Logsdon while Leslie Clark won a prize on hole #4 with the shortest drive used by a team. Dawn Miller had the closest shot to the hanging basket on hole #5 while Donna Copeland came closest to the white stake on hole #6.

Jessica Ewing was closest to the pin on the second shot on hole #7 and Donna Copeland was closest to the 100-yard marker on hole #9.
