Tigers Go .500 in Shoot-out

By Brock Bondurant
The Scotland County Tigers boys’ basketball team played sixteen games last week in the annual Schuyler County Shoot-out. The Tigers, coached by Lance Campbell, went 8-8 showing more and more promise as the week went along. “As the week progressed, we improved tremendously on hitting the boards. Our rebounding on both ends of the court got better and better with each game.” Campbell says. “We also improved on pushing the ball up the floor. This allows us to get some good looks in transition as well as not giving the defense any time to set up.”

The scores throughout the week were:

Opponent. Result.

South Harrison L 17-48

Cairo L 39-52

S.Harrison JV W 51-19
