Easter Egg Hunts to Be Held Saturday

Area youngsters will have a pair of opportunities to hunt Easter eggs on Saturday courtesy of local sponsors.

Primrose Realty will again host its Easter Egg Hunt on the Scotland County Courthouse lawn beginning at 10:30 a.m. Children in first to fourth grade will fill their baskets at the center of the city square.

Kids in kindergarten or younger will have a special egg hunt in the Scotland County Antique Fair lot located off the northwest corner of the square.

The Memphis Police Department will temporarily close some traffic lanes to accommodate both events.

Pamida will be the site of the second Easter egg hunt of the day. Children are invited to attend the event, which begins at 2:00 p.m.

Sponsors for the afternoon hunt include Pamida, Payne Funeral Chapel, J's Foods, Scotland County Pharmacy, Pizza Hut, Community Bank of Memphis, Exchange Bank of Northeast Missouri, U.S. Bank, Bank of Memphis, Beverly Moore Insurance, Pepsi, RPM, Countryside Flowers and The Daisy Patch.
