BEVERLY ANN KROUSE
(3/9/1949 - 5/8/2011)



Beverly Ann Krouse, 62, of Luray, Missouri passed away May, 8, 2011 at the Scotland County Hospital in Memphis.

The daughter of Nelson and Anne Pulliam Glasgow, she was born March 9, 1949 in Keokuk, Iowa. She graduated from Wyaconda High School in 1966.

She married Junior Krouse April, 8, 1967 "and to this union" two daughters were born; Ava and Emilie. They raised their family around the Luray area and Beverly worked for the Clark County Family services managing the family support division, retiring from that office on September 30, 2009

In her spare time she loved to travel, was involved in the Luray Baptist Church, V.F.W. and Scotland County Hospital Auxiliaries, the Red Cross, and was actively involved with her daughters and grandchildren's activities, one of which was the Clark County Band. She was also helping in the Susan B. Koman Race For the Cure in the states of Missouri, Iowa, and North Carolina, and Relay For Life events in Clark and Scotland County. Most importantly she taught her family, being a prime example, of how to love, laugh and enjoy living life to the fullest.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother-in-law, Jack Krouse.

She is survived by her husband, Junior Krouse of Luray, MO, two daughters, Ava Krouse of Raytown, MO and Emilie Dameron of Granite Falls, N. C., two grandchildren, Estelle and Tristan Dameron of Granite Falls, N.C., a sister-in-law, Annie Mercer of Cantril, IA, and three brothers-in-law, Jim Krouse and his wife Shirley of Keosauqua, IA, Don Krouse and his wife Rachel of Agency, IA and Joe Krouse and his wife Susie of Farmington, IA, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

In honor of her memory memorials are suggested to either the Clark County Marching Indians or the Scotland County Cancer Fund and can be left at or mailed to the Payne Funeral Chapel, 202 E. Madison St., Memphis, Missouri 63555.

Memorial services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, May 12, 2011, at the Luray Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Boley officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Memphis Cemetery east of Memphis, MO. Honorary pallbearer will be Junior Bertram.

Friends may come by and sign the register after 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at the Payne Funeral Chapel in Memphis where the family will receive friends from 4 to 6 that evening.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Payne Funeral Chapel in Memphis.
