Midgets Edge SCR-I By One Stroke in Golf Home Opener

A return to the friendly confines was not enough for the Scotland County golf squad to post its first win of the year as Putnam County edged SCR-I by one stroke in a dual meet held at Timber Ridge Golf Course on March 31st.

Kasey Dial shot three over par to top all individual scorers. His 37 was best on the SCR-I team score card that also featured a 42 by Drew Miller.

Overall the Tigers shot 175, one off the pace set by Putnam County.

Cody Quint carded a 40 for the Midgets. Dillon Bradshaw and Keaton Hixenbaugh each shot rounds of 44 and Jake Hyde had a 46 to give Putnam County a final round of 174.

The Tigers score card was rounded out with a 47 from Taylor Rader and a 49 by Levi Wollums.
