Four SCR-I Students Named to TRC All Academic Team

Each year the Tri-Rivers Conference selects an all-academic team. The team is based on grade point average, ACT composite score, and the number of conference sports and activities students have participated in during their junior and senior years. This is a highly selective group.

Scotland County placed four seniors on the sixteen member squad. They are ranked as follows; #2 Augusta Purvis, #3 Sabe Sears, #6 Rod Sears, and #11 Skyler Alderton.

Alex Thraser from North Shelby was the top ranked senior in the conference.

This is the highest number of seniors that Scotland County has had on the team in over ten years.

The complete 2010-2011 Tri Rivers Conference Academic Awards are as follows: Alex Thrasher, North Shelby; Augusta Purvis, Scotland County; Sabe Sears, Scotland County; Zachary Henderson, North Shelby; Mia Mann, North Shelby; Rod Sears, Scotland County; Cameron Morford, Knox County; Gary Grimm, Putnam County; Danielle Johnston, North Shelby; Chanel Daughtry, North Shelby; Skyler Alderton, Scotland County; Evan McWilliams, North Shelby; Jacob Tallman, Schuyler County; Benjamin Delaney, Knox County; Gentry Fowler, Schuyler County; and Stacy Leckbee, Knox County.
