Trooper Injured in Collision With Deer

A Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper suffered minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident at 1:27 a.m. in Clark County on New Year's Day.

According to the Patrol, Tyler Mobley, 23, was westbound in his 2010 Ford Crown Victoria patrol car responding to an accident call when the vehicle struck a deer on Route C, three miles north of Wayland.

Mobley was treated and released at Scotland County Hospital in Memphis for minor injuries.

The patrol car sustained extensive damage.
