R~n~B Coffee Shop Opens in Memphis

By Shyanne Probst

Attention All Coffee Drinkers!...There's a new coffee shop in town! Brenda Roberts, recently of Des Moines, IA, now of Memphis, is the owner of a coffee shop, R~n~B on the east side of the square in Memphis in between the police station and Lighthouse of Faith Church.

Brenda has a host of businesses in her little shop. Besides the coffee shop, Roberts will be renting new release movies and doing taxes and accounting.

There will be several different kinds of coffee offered including Jamaican Me Crazy, German Chocolate, La Rue, Starbucks, Tranquil Moments, and Red Line Supercharged. Roberts will also be selling cappuccinos, cookies, soups and sandwiches.

R~n~B Coffee Shop hours are Monday thru Thursday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 8 am. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 12 noon to 5 p.m. Shop hours may change depending on when the demand is.

Brenda is hoping to exhibit some of the SCR-I High School artwork in her coffee shop.

Brenda moved to Memphis to be closer to family and enjoy her grandkids. Her daughter, Cecily Williams, has been helping her in the shop some.

Brenda is renting her building from the Memphis Masonic Lodge. She mentioned they were very courteous to help her with some adjustments to make her shop what it is.
