Local Winners Claim Part of $8.6 Million February Lottery Payout

More than $8.6 million in prizes of $1,000 or more were awarded to Missouri Lottery players during February, including three local players. Thousands of other prizes of less than $1,000 also were awarded during the month.

Winners of $1,000 or more in February included Scott Goff and George Mendenhall, both of Memphis and James Robertson of Wyaconda. All three local winners turned in $1,000 scratchers tickets.

The top prize winner in February was Loretta Favrow of Olathe, KS, who claimed a $3 million Lotto prize. Two $1 million Powerball prizes were awarded to Virgil Mawby of Excelsior Springs and Roberta Sinclair of Raytown.

Four big prizes were awarded to Scratchers ticket winners including $250,000 to Zeggai Zerai, of St. Louis and $100,000 to Chanel Miller of Hannibal, Richard Stahl of St. Peters and Steven Stokes of Troy.
