Local Man Hurt In Crash Near Memphis

Mark Mattingly of Memphis, suffered minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident on Highway 136 east of Memphis on Monday afternoon.

A Memphis man suffered minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident on Highway 136 two miles east of town on Monday afternoon at 1:45 p.m..

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Mark W. Mattingly, 60, was westbound in a 2003 Ford F-150 truck when the vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway, striking a fence and a utility pole before coming to rest in the roadway.

Mattingly was transported by Scotland County Ambulance to Scotland County Hospital.

The Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Memphis Police Department and Tri-County Electric Cooperative.

The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene by Lakeside Towing.
