Memphis Girls Hurt in Clark County Collision

Two sisters were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Clark County on Sunday, December 16th.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at 4:38 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 136 and Highway 81 in Kahoka.

Tasha M. Snelling, 22, was southbound on Highway 81 in a 1999 Plymouth Voyager. She made a left turn on to Highway 136 into the path of a westbound 2008 GMC Sierra pickup driven by Clint M. Eddleman, 36, of Kahoka.

Two passengers in the Snelling vehicle, her stepdaughters Calista B. Ortiz, 12, and Chelsie R. Ortiz, 14, suffered minor injuries in the crash. Both girls were transported by Clark County Ambulance to Scotland County Hospital in Memphis.

Snelling and Eddleman were not injured in the crash. Both vehicles sustained total damage.

The Highway Patrol was assisted at the crash scene by the ambulance service, Kahoka Police Department and the Clark County Sheriff's Office.
