FRANKLIN DALE RUSSELL

Frank Russell, 69, of Memphis died Friday, May 11, 2012 at Scotland County Hospital in Memphis.
He was born in Memphis on January 7, 1943, the son of Ernest Mitchel (Mike) Russell and Demma LaVaughn Regnold. Frank spent his childhood in Scotland County, attending school in Memphis. At the age of 19 he followed his brother Jim to Clay County, Missouri for work. There he met his bride, the former Lee Ann Wullbrandt of Missouri City, MO. They were united in marriage on July 31, 1966 in Liberty, MO. She survives.
To this union two children were born.
The Russell's moved back to Memphis in 1988 to help his mom after the death of her third husband.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two step fathers, Dillard Cline and John Lutz; his brother James (Jim) Russell; a half-brother, Hughie Cline; three sisters, Shirley Russell, Janice Russell and Jolene (Jody) Russell; and a daughter, Pamela Russell.
He is survived by his wife Lee Ann, of the home; his daughter Brenda and husband Karl DeMarce of Memphis; five grandchildren, Cat and Susannah DeMarce of Memphis, Marie DeMarce of Grand Forks, ND, Renée DeMarce of Watertown, SD, and William DeMarce of Arlington, VA; a sister, Bettie Corn of Memphis; a half-sister, Ruby and husband Gary Hunter of Blue Springs, MO; four sisters-in-law, Kathy Cline of Memphis, Burtie Belle and husband Lyman Lambeth of Coeur D'Alene, ID, Jo Ann and husband Bob Ensminger of Meadow Vista, CA, and Lou Ellen and husband Dennis Bachtel of Pleasanton, CA; and a brother-in-law, Jon Wullbrandt of Memphis; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Memorial services will be held at Gerth Funeral Chapel in Memphis on Thursday, May 24th at 2:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior to the service. Officiating will be Pastor Roger Neumann of Grace Lutheran Church, Oskaloosa, IA. Music will be provided by Barbara Van Haaften of Oskaloosa, IA. Urn bearer will be William DeMarce. Honorary bearers are Karl DeMarce, Frank's brothers-in-law and nephews, and friends Rick Jack, Dean Simerl, and Rev. Charles Hammack.
