MICHAEL H. BRADLEY
(11/10/1940 - 6/15/2012)



Michael H. Bradley, 71, of Hermann, MO, passed away Friday night, June 15, 2012, at the Sunset Nursing Home in Union, MO.

The son of Dr. Raymond D. and Helen (Orcutt) Bradley, he was born November 10, 1940, in rural Baring, MO. He was a graduate of Northeast Missouri State College in Kirksville, MO, with a Bachelor of Science in Art Education.

On January 6, 1964, he was married to Carol Jeanne Fergason in the First Methodist Church in Macon, MO. To this union two children were born.

Michael was a florist and landscaper. Later he became a rural mail carrier in Gasconade County for many years. He enjoyed sausage making and barbequing. Michael was a firm supporter of the Boy Scouts of America and was a member of the Eagles, Jaycees, and the Boy Scouts.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Carol Jeanne Bradley of Hermann, MO; his son, Matthew Todd Bradley and wife Corrine of Overland Park, KS; his daughter, Amanda Lynn Stenson and husband Mike of New Orleans, LA; and five grandsons, Michael Patrick Haggerty, Allen Gray Stenson, West Fergason Stenson, Grant Alexander Bradley, and Roman Matthew Bradley.

Private family gravesite services were held on Monday, June 18, 2012, in the Memphis Cemetery with interment following.

Memorials are suggested to the Boy Scouts of America or to the Alzheimer's Association and may be left at or mailed to the Gerth Funeral Service, 115 S. Main St., Memphis, MO 63555.

Arrangements were under the direction of the Gerth Funeral Service from their Memphis chapel.
