June Walls, 47, of Memphis, Missouri passed away early Monday morning, December 17, 2012, at the Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois. The daughter of Jim Walls of Banning, California, and Viola Bunch Heiner of Memphis, Missouri, she was born November 19, 1965 in San Bernadeno, California.

June was a 29 year employee of the Denny's Restaurant chain, and currently was the head cook at the Wayland, Missouri branch. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and her hobbies included fishing, karaoke, camping, and playing pool. She also enjoyed spending time with her pets Kola and Laya. Her ambition was about helping others.

She was preceded in death by her father, two brothers, Billy and Floyd Walls; paternal grandparents James and Flossie Walls; maternal grandparents, Wm. and Fleda Bunch.

Surviving relatives include her mother, Viola Heiner of Memphis, Missouri; brothers; Art, Raymond, Daryll, and Ron Walls of California along with Gary and Larry Young of Missouri; sisters; Wyvonia Walls Sybal, Toni Walls Cupp, Christie and Brenda Walls of California, and Barbara Lewis of Illinois, four aunts; Betty, Ozell, Marjorie and Willadene as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and foster children.

Visitation is scheduled for Friday, December 21, 2012, from 4-6 PM with the family present to greet friends. Funeral services are immediately following at 6 PM with Brother Jack Sumption officiating. At the conclusion of the service her wishes will be honored as she will be cremated.

Memorials are suggested to the family for their discretion and can be left at or mailed to the Payne Funeral Chapel, 202 E. Madison St., Memphis, MO 63555.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Payne Funeral Chapel of Memphis.
