Four Lady Tigers Earn All-District Softball Honors

Four Scotland County softball players were recognized on the recently released all district team for Missouri Class 1 District 9.

Megan Creek and Bethany Rader were named all-district pitchers along with Rachel Poston of Knox County.

Knox County's Bailey Couch and Brashear's Meredith Thomas were named all district catchers.

District champs Knox County had the entire infield honored. Sarah Dooley (1B), Olivia Nichols (2B), Devin Gudehus (SS), and Lauren Dale (3B) were all named all-district performers. Also honored were Shelby Salter of Brashear and Scotland County's first baseman, Hailey Dial. The junior was tops on SCR-I with a .964 fielding percentage. She batted .279 on the season with five extra-base hits.

The all district outfield was Mackenzie Hustead and Paige Couch of Knox County and Randi Slaughter of Scotland County.

Katlyn Booth of Marion County was named to the all district team as a utility player.
