Area Author to Release Third Book
After successfully entering the children's book genre, area author Sherry Dalton is prepared to launch her third publication, looking to reach a new group of readers.
The Luray native recently announced plans for the release of a book, entitled "In God We Trust" which will feature a compilation of five short stories. The limited edition publication will include tales of Missy Penny Primanproper, a fictional character from the silent movie days. The work also tells the story of Sherry's grandfather, Buster Fox in a story entitled "A true American". The five short stories include fictional pieces as well as biographical accounts while following a Christian based theme.
Dalton is no stranger to local readers. She wrote a people feature column in the Memphis Democrat before turning her attention full-time to book writing.
She published "A New Day- A New Beginning" and "Do Indians Eat Soup?" through the PublishAmerica clearing hosue in Baltimore, MD. Her new work will be printed by River Basin Publications in Burlington, IA. The limited edition prints will be available for $10 and will be signed and numbered by the author.
