Our Story Goes On Performance Returning to Memphis Stage

For the second consecutive year, Memphis has been selected as one of the destinations for the traveling performance of "Our Story Goes On".

Described as "Inspirational Broadway" with a beautiful and entertaining mix of new original music and old favorites, "Our Story Goes On" features a cast of 20 performers who highlight the joys, the trials, the humor as well as the struggles we all face. It offers a perspective that will inspire and motivate.

Always an audience favorite, this year's cast will continue to delight and inspire both young and old alike.

These talented individuals are chosen from hundreds who audition each year to be in this performing group. There is no admission cost to this event as it is presented as a gift to the community from the Core Cast Performers of the Nauvoo Pageant. However the group often teams up with a local charity and donations to that worthy cause are accepted, but not required.

The traveling show is performed each Sunday in preparation for the Nauvoo Pageant. the tour began last Sunday in Liberty, MO.

The group will be in Memphis at the Memphis Theatre on Sunday, July 7th at 5 p.m.

The following Sunday, the show will travel to Mt. Pleasant, IA for a 5 p.m. concert at the Iowa Wesleyan College before hosting a July 21st performance in Macomb, IL and a July 28th show at Nauvoo, IL.

Accomplished musicians, composers, singers and actors will blend their talents to present the show, which features an insightful narrative interwoven with beloved Broadway and American classics as well as American folk songs and original compositions prepared especially for this year's performance.

The talent for "Our Story Goes On" is comprised of the core cast of the Nauvoo Pageant. Now in its ninth year of productions, the pageant will be performed on the outdoor pageant stage in Nauvoo, IL, July 9th through August 3rd, Tuesday through Saturdays, with the Frontier County Fair from 7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. and the pageant beginning at 8:30 p.m. For more information please visit www.nauvoopageant.org, facebook.com/Nauvoo Pageant or call 217-453-2429.
